Positions are open to volunteers from those who have been active members for at least three months. After the first term, all positions are elected. Terms may be adjusted by Steering Committee/Group Conscious in the future.

| Secretary - coordinate rotation of Meeting Chairs; keeps records of motions passed and failed (including a record of the minority opinion if one is posted); maintains copies of specialized membership lists like a list of trusted servants, a list of sponsors, etc. [Term 1 year] |

An organized committee to represent the group and to do the business of the group in most circumstances. Voting members of the Steering Committee are limited. Other members of A Serenity Place may attend Steering Committee meetings to present an issue to the Steering Committee, or observe the Committee in action.
